objective
- To work for the development of Fisheries education, research and overall development of fisheries sector in the country.
- To facilitate the establishment of Fisheries Council of India.
- To represent the authorities regarding issues pertaining to professional well being of fisheries graduates and/or to the livelihood of different stakeholders of the sector.
- To promote the development of fisheries professionals, advancing fisheries and aquatic science and promoting conservation and sustainable development of fishery resources and aquatic ecosystems.
